Wikiklesia Project Wins Award
Volume One of the Wikiklesia Project, Voices of the Virtual World, was honored Wednesday evening in Boston with an Award of Merit (non-profit category) by the Society for New Communications Research, based in Palo Alto. The SNCR will soon post a public case study on the Wikiklesia Project HERE. Other SNCR award recipients included Microsoft, Sun Microsystems (corporate blogging initiative), Cisco Systems (Second Life initiative), and Coca-Cola / Eepybird Marketing for their wildly successful YouTube viral marketing campaign with Mentos and Diet Coke “fountains.” Eepybird has over forty-million hits to-date, and was at one time the third most frequented destination on the web.
